objects are shown?
Size and position of character: can we predict
what the book might be about?
Colour: do the colours used support this
prediction?
Objects on the back cover and the blurb:
does this support the prediction?
End papers: what are the predominant
colours? Does the story start and end here?
Setting: from the cover and / or endpapers
is the setting obvious?
