Introduction

Water is a vital part of life. It is critical that communities, industry, agriculture and the environment receive a continued supply of high quality water.

Australia is at the limits of its available water resources. The significant rural economy is dependent on continued access to stretched water. However, there is clear evidence of degradation in our rivers - loss of wetlands, blue-green algae blooms, carp infestation, decline in native fish populations, increased salinity and high bacterial levels.

Participate in this project and investigate the issues surrounding water conservation in Australia.
