Re: Using an Averkey
Anne,
whilst not having used an averkey for art/studio arts, I find the averkey is an absolutely fantastic tool for demonstrations.
i have used them with teachers when running computer based training and with students in sose classes doing various computer based tasks. my typical use would be to stop the group (students or teachers) and direct their attention to the monitor where i would either demonstrate a computer technique or show them what the finished result of a particular task might look like. But the averkey has a wide range of uses. It can replace the more expensive lcd projectors to deliver powerpoint presentations or may even replace the old epidioscope that you once used to project images from various art books - this would require the use of a scanner as well or logging in to a virtual museum and then displaying the images for all to see.
The latest averkeys come with remote capabilities that allow you to wander the room and still access all the functions of the equipment.
Not a comprehensive list of uses, but its a start
Regards,
Bruce
