Online Postcard Competition

Hello Colleagues,
I thought I would highlight this postcard competition hosted by the ABC Online Learning website. It would be a great exercise for a graphics or an art class relevant across primary and secondary levels.

Enter the Space's online art competition 
Enter the Space's online arts competition and you could win prizes from the ABC shop and get your art shown online. There will be two winners - an overall and a people's choice winner.

Send us your artwork and keep visiting the Space to find out how you can vote for the people's choice winner.

Design Brief 
To enter, your artwork must be based on the theme "Put some space in your day". Feel free to interpret the theme as broadly as you wish. 


How to Enter 


Via email
The maximum size is 200 pixels width and 200 pixels height. The resolution must be 72dpi. The image can be saved in any web-friendly format e.g jpeg, gif or swf files and must not exceed 60K in file size. Before you send in your work, read the conditions of entry then send an email with the image attached to arts@your.abc.net.au with the words "The Space Online Art Competition" as the subject heading. Include in the email your contact details and the title and description of the artwork. 
Via postal mail
Fill in the space allocated in the special edition ABC Arts online "put some space in your day" postcards with your artwork. 

Attach a stamp, provide your name and contact details and send to:

Deadline 
All entries must be received by 5pm Monday 1st December 2001. Contributions sent before this date will be displayed on the Space's Online Art Competition Gallery page and will be available online for the people's choice award.

Prizes 
An ABC Shop Prize Pack will be awarded to each of the three winning entries. The winning and selected entries will be included in the "Put some space in your day" Competition Gallery. Winners will receive notification by email and announced in the Space - ABC Arts and Culture gateway on the 15th January 2002.
